thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems is a leading provider of systematic industrial services. Based in Oberhausen, the company was established through the merging of various thyssenkrupp Group companies.

Decades of experience, sound market and industry knowledge and above all a practically unique spectrum of services make the company a premium partner and value-added supplier to a broad range of industries, both in Germany and throughout Europe.

The Industrial Services business of thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems is divided into five operating units:

  • Plant Services (maintenance and repairs)

  • Plant Technology (assembly, plant overhauls and special-purpose plant engineering)

  • Wood and Packaging Systems (the provision of wood products and packaging materials as well as packaging services)

  • Production Support (fleet management, in-house logistics, finishing, refractory work, residual material recycling, preparatory work, etc.)

  • Slag Management (liquid slag transportation, processing, metal separation, and slag marketing)

This system of services, practically unique in its breadth and depth, enables us to develop outstanding, tailor-made, innovative conceptual solutions for our customers and implement them professionally, economically, and reliably.

The range of services can include, for example, flexibly providing fitters to work on an hourly basis, pre-defined catalog work, or complex, tightly scheduled major project work and special-purpose plant engineering, which can even include establishing local service bases on-site to provide long-term plant support.

Our activities always focus on the individual needs of our customers, which can sometimes, however, be initially difficult to define. For that reason, our expertise includes analytically understanding and developing these requirements together with the customer in order to ultimately define a concrete and meaningful requirements profile for a service partner. A key part of the value-added principle that defines our work is our ability to integrate ourselves in the process of developing solutions from the outset and provide the right kind of support.

Alongside the Group’s high standards in terms of occupational safety and health as well as environmental and energy management, we guarantee our customers an excellent level of professional service in every respect – in other words, genuine added value.

thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems is part of the thyssenkrupp Group and belongs to the Material Services business area. In fiscal year 2015/2016, some 2,000 employees generated total sales in the region of 200 million euros.
