In 2015, thyssenkrupp issued a statement expressing its commitment to inclusion for people with disabilities. In a joint statement issued by the Group Executive Board and employee representatives, we are committed to recruiting and supporting people with disabilities and to reporting regularly on progress regarding inclusion. As a company bound by collective bargaining agreements, thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems GmbH follows clear remuneration principles based on the respective position and its requirements. The gender of the position holder is irrelevant. These principles are also applied to all positions that are not covered by the collective agreement.

Compatibility of family and career:
In addition to classic part-time models (also for trainees and managers), thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems GmbH is increasingly promoting job sharing and flexible working models (mobile working, home office).
Supportive care and nursing services are available to all employees (e.g., placement service for ad hoc care, counselling service in connection with the care of family members).
Proportion of women in management positions:
thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems GmbH has set itself the clear goal of mirroring the existing proportion of female employees in the company in management roles. In addition to the mandatory inclusion of female candidates in the applicant selection process for vacant positions, mentoring and development programs contribute to achieving this goal.
